Growing up, I have always loved cars.
I was nine years old when my dad brought home our first family car, a second-hand blue Maruti 800. I named him Atom. I remember spending hours sitting inside it, pretending to drive, changing gears, honking, making engine sounds, imagining long road trips.
From that day on, my love for vehicles only grew stronger. I started noticing the smallest things: keeping the car clean every day, making sure it was serviced on time, and taking care of it like it was part of the family. My dad taught me how to drive when I was fourteen.
By the time I was in school, I would tell my friends that I wanted to become an F1 driver when I grew up. When I turned eighteen, the first thing I did was get my driving license.
"Vehicles have never been just machines for me. In our family, every vehicle had a name. We cared for them the way we cared for people."
And I realized this wasn’t just us; for most people in our country, a vehicle is not a commodity. It’s an emotion.
Studying mechanical engineering only made that connection stronger. Understanding how machines are built, how they work, and how much effort goes into creating something we trust every day made me realize one thing: vehicles deserve better care than what they get today.
Because vehicle care in our country today is broken.
It is inconvenient. It wastes time. There is very little trust. There is no accountability. And the service quality is inconsistent, whether it is washing, servicing, accessories, or repairs.
A vehicle is often the second biggest investment someone makes in their life. Yet the way we take care of it is completely unorganized. People are busy. Vehicles are expensive. And the system around vehicle care has not evolved.
We believe convenience should not be a luxury. It should be the default.
We believe service should be professional and trust should be built, not assumed.
We believe systems should be structured and the people doing the work should be respected.
On the supply side, we believe jobs in this industry should be dignified. We believe opportunities should be equal. We believe women should be able to work in automotive services just as much as men. We believe a structured workforce can change the entire experience of vehicle care.
That is why we started Snello.
Snello is a 30-minute doorstep vehicle care platform. We began with vehicle washing for two-wheelers and four-wheelers, built on strong SOPs, technology, and operations.
But what we are building is not just a better wash. We are building a system where your vehicle stays where it is, and the service comes to you. At your home. At your office. Wherever your vehicle is parked.
And the real feature of Snello is not just efficiency. It is reliability, accountability, and dignity of work. It is structure in a space that never had one.
